Originally created for the September 22, 1934 Saturday Evening Post cover, this eleven-color lithograph, measuring 29.5 by 24 inches, was hand proofed and printed at Atelier Ettinger in September 1976. A total of 320 prints of this kind were produced. A set of 200 were numbered. Another set of 35 were A/P's numbered with Roman numerals. A set of 60 were unnumbered; another set of 25 were unnumbered and printed on Japon paper. All of the prints made were signed in pencil by Norman Rockwell.
The purchase of any limited edition Norman Rockwell print is accompanied by an authenticity certificate signed by our museum director. Purchases come with museum membership and care and handling instructions for the print. Payments may be made through our interest free 10 month layaway plan.
