Norman Rockwell, The Gossips, Saturday Evening Post cover March 6, 1948. New 15 oz. 4.5" inch tall ceramic mug with remastered artwork for improved color accuracy. Microwave safe, hand-wash recommended for best results.
After relocating from New Rochelle, NY, to Arlington, VT, in 1941, Norman Rockwell had to reconsider one facet of his working methods. With professional models not so readily available, Rockwell began appearing as subjects on such Post covers as The Gossips, which appeared in March 1948. Rockwell includes himself in this sequential story as the subject of the characters' conversation.
