Norman Rockwell (1894 to 1978) Mermaid (Fair Catch) Cover Illustration for The Saturday Evening Post (August 20, 1955). color lithograph on arches rag paper. This limited edition signed print entitled Mermaid (Fair Catch) measures 28 x 21 inches, with image measuring 25 x 17 inches and was hand signed by Norman Rockwell in the lower right corner in pencil and listed as A/P Artist Proof . This depiction is very detailed and is in excellent condition.
See America First was re-printed by Circle Gallery in 1972. The edition consists of 260 impressions on papier d'Arches. 200 were numbered and 60 artists proofs were signed in pencil by Norman Rockwell. An additional 35 prints signed and designated with roman numerals were reserved for Rockwell.
