Norman Rockwell (1894 to 1978) See America First Cover Illustration for The Saturday Evening Post (April 23, 1938). Lithograph on arches rag paper. This limited edition signed print entitled See America First measures 21 x 27 inches. The art is signed in the lower right in charcoal pencil and listed as Artis Proof. This depiction is very detailed and is in excellent condition.
See America First was re-printed by Circle Gallery in 1972. The edition consists of 260 impressions on papier d'Arches. 200 were numbered and 60 artists proofs were signed in pencil by Norman Rockwell. An additional 35 prints signed and designated with roman numerals were reserved for Rockwell.
