Originally created as an advertisement for Mass Mutual in 1953.
Measuring 11.25 x 14 inches, this print is personally signed by Rockwell in permanent ink in the lower right. Originally created for the American Family Life series for Mass Mutual Insurance Co. Part of a unique selection of exclusive signed copies donated to Norman Rockwell Museum Store, this item was not created through established limited edition printmakers like Atelier Ettinger Inc. or Circle Gallery. Although the print is a copy of a reproduction, the signature is original in permanent ink. However, the image quality is highly contrasted with fine line work appearing faint, and dominant darker tones.
