An homage to local Berkshire legend, Norman Rockwell, who perfectly captures the spread of a rumor through a small town in his famous Saturday Evening Post Cover, “The Gossips”. Ever wonder what the neighborhood dogs might be saying when they start a chain of barking? Traditional oil painter, Eric Lake, puts a canine spin on this this story with his whimsical “The Tattletails” illustration.
Mr. Rockwell was a dog lover and had many canine companions throughout his life. In his later years, he had Pitter, who had been rescued as a stray from the streets of nearby Pittsfield, Massachusetts. Pitter inspired the dog featured at the end of the painting where Norman Rockwell had originally included himself as the topic of the gossip.
100% GOTS Organic Cotton Fabric. Measures 16" wide x 16" high (Handles 20" x 1.5”). Printed with water-based, food safe ink. Imported, proudly designed in Berkshire County, MA, USA.
