R. O. Blechman (b. 1930), Museum Mile Pencil signed limited edition serigraph print with airbrush on paper, 20" x 24" inches. Illustration for New York City's Museum Mile Festival, first published in 1981, reprinted in 1994.
Blechman utilized a striding character (as in From J Appleseed to P Bunyan) in his advertising illustration for New York City's Museum Mile Festival. Each part of the figure is constructed in a different style, technique, and color, a reflection on the variety of experiences that art provides. Blechman's piece also includes a code identifying each institution along New York City's Fifth Avenue Museum Mile.
The purchase of any limited edition print is accompanied by an Authenticity Certificate signed by our Museum Director and care and handling instructions for the print. Payment plans are available.
