Christmas Trio 30x24 Artist Proof

This limited edition print entitled Christmas Trio/Christmas Sing Merrilie is 30 X 23.3/4 inches. It is edition I - 13/100 and is hand signed by Norman Rockwell in pencil at the lower right corner. The image is that of three caroling musicians at Christmas. In 1923, The Saturday Evening Post was only printing covers in black and red but this did not prevent Rockwell from painting the Carolers in full color just to make them look better. Regarding his models he said " this is the closest these musicians will ever be to a performance". This print has vibrant color and detail and in wonderful condition. The image was used for the cover of The Saturday Evening Post, December 8, 1923 edition.
