Inspired by Franklin Delano Roosevelt's 1941 Sate of the Union address outlining four basic freedoms essential to all people, Norman Rockwell painted a series of indelible images that stand among our nation's most significant icons: Freedom of Speech, Freedom of Worship, Freedom from Want, and Freedom from Fear: Rockwell's Four Freedoms appeared in four consecutive issues of The Saturday Evening Post from February 20 to March 13, 1943, bringing Roosevelt's democratic ideals to life for millions of Americans.

Printed in the USA on recycled paper using vegetable-based inks.
